If you are concerned about mould or moisture in your home, I can help.
A Mould and Moisture Assessment involves the following steps:
Pre-assessment
I will send you a questionnaire about your home and occupants for completion at least 48 hours before the inspection.
I will also research the surrounding area prior to the visit.
Initial consultation
On arrival, I will spend approximately 30 minutes reviewing the completed questionnaire with you.
Onsite assessment (3–5 hours)
Internal and external visual inspection using moisture meters, an infrared camera, and a hygrometer.
Moisture mapping of building materials to help determine sources of problematic moisture.
Identification of ventilation issues.
Collection of samples for laboratory testing, where required, to assess mould load/burden and identify species present.
Lab testing costs $121.00 (including GST) per sample. An average home typically requires 7–12 samples.

A travel fee may apply depending on your location.
A $220.00 deposit is required to confirm your booking.
Full payment must be received before any samples are sent for laboratory analysis.
Reporting and follow-up
Once lab results are available, I will call you to discuss the findings.
I will then prepare a Preliminary Report with my findings and recommendations.
Note: This is a preliminary report. If you require a more detailed report for legal or insurance purposes, please let me know and I can provide a separate quote.
After you receive the Preliminary Report, I will arrange a follow-up phone call to answer any further questions.
